Legal Authority:

The Oak Grove Cemetery Board was established by the Board of Supervisors by Resolution adopted June 15, 1936, pursuant to Health and Safety Code Section 8133 (formerly Political Code Section 3110).

Membership Qualifications:

The Cemetery shall be managed by three (3) trustees who will enforce obedience to all rules and regulations of the Cemetery. The trustees shall be appointed by the Board of Supervisors and shall reside in the vicinity of Glennville.

Term:

The trustees shall hold office for four (4) years and until appointment and qualification of successors.

Duties:

The trustees shall govern and manage the affairs of the Cemetery, guided by laws and regulations set forth in the Health and Safety Code and by regulations that are promulgated by the Kern County Board of Supervisors.

Meeting Place and Time:

The home of Jeff Bowen Star Route Box 9 Glennville, CA 93226 Regular meetings will be held three times each year with other meetings called on an "as needed" basis.
