SUPERVISOR PATRICK REPORTED ON A PRESENTATION SHE MADE ON BEHALF OF THE BOARD AT THE SAN JOAQUIN VALLEY SUPERVISORS ASSOCIATION MEETING, ENCOURAGING COLLABORATION WITH OTHER VALLEY COUNTIES TO DEVELOP A COMMON STRATEGY RELATING TO ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT, EMPLOYMENT, INFRASTRUCTURE AND OTHER ISSUES AFFECTING COUNTIES.

SUPERVISOR PETERSON FURTHER COMMENTED ON THE MEETING AND EXPRESSED HIS APPRECIATION TO SUPERVISOR PATRICK FOR THE PRESENTATION MADE ON BEHALF OF THE BOARD.
SUPERVISOR PEREZ ADVISED THAT HE AND SUPERVISOR MCQUISTON RECENTLY TESTIFIED BEFORE A SENATE SUBCOMMITTEE REGARDING MILITARY BASE RETENTION; AND PARTICIPATED AS A PANELIST FOR REVIEW OF GRANT PROPOSALS FOR JUVENILE AND ADULT PROBATION FACILITIES.
